On June 15, Bhavika Govil is joining hands with Indian jewellery brand, Lune, to facilitate their monthly book club dedicated to exploring works by women writers of colour.

For the June pick for the Lune Book Club, we'll be dipping into Milk Teeth, Amrita Mahale's debut novel. A book which is as Bombay as it gets, this novel explores the lives of Ira Kamat and Kartik Kini, residents and childhood friends of one crumbling apartment complex in Matunga. Set in the 1990s, this immersive novel pulls you into the character's secret lives, and how they live, love and grow in a city that's rapidly changing around them.

We're also really happy to share that we're taking the book club online for this month, so as many of you as possible can be a part of this.
