Bhavika Govil is a writer from India with an MSc in Creative Writing from The University of Edinburgh. Her debut novel Hot Water is forthcoming with HarperCollins India in April 2025 and is being translated into the French by Éditions de la Martinière.

Her short fiction and other works have been published in international publications such asWasafiri, A Case of Indian Marvels, Extra Teeth, Gutter, From Arthur’s Seat, Hillfire Anthology, Outlook Traveller, Vogue, Little Black Book, and The New Indian Express.
